Fehler beim Update via Contao Manager: In Process.php line 143: [TypeError] …

Hi,

ich weiß, wenn man Contao 4.4 liest, fühlt man sich zurück in die Steinzeit versetzt, nichts desto trotz hoffe ich, es gibt eine Lösung.

Die Seite soll etwas erweitert werden, dafür benötige ich eine neue Erweiterung, aber der Manager läuft nicht durch. Fehlermeldung:

Ich finde nicht viel dazu, was ich gefunden habe ist die Info, dass 4.4 nicht mit der neusten Composer-Version kompatibel ist und man eben updaten muss oder bei Composer 2.2 bleiben soll.

Wenn der Kunde einverstanden ist, mache ich natürlich das Update, was ich mich aber frage ist, wie kann ich den Fehler verhindern wenn ich nicht updaten "darf"? Also wie stelle ich sicher, dass nur Composer 2.2 verwendet wird?

Der Contao Manager aktualisiert sich selbst auf die jeweils richtige Version. Es kann aber sein, dass deine Contao 4.4 Installation nicht up to date ist.

Habe heute die gleiche Fehlermeldung. Eine ältere Contao 4.9 mit vielen Erweiterungen lässt sich nicht upgraden nachdem sich der Manager auf 1.7.0 geupdatet hat. Leider auch kein SSH Zugriff vorhanden auf dem Hosting

Muss wohl eine Staging Umgebung aufsetzen und dort alles updaten.

Beschreibe genauer was du versuchst zu machen.

Ich habe eine Contao 4.4.57 Seite die ich Updaten Will auf 4.13 und PHP 8.2 . Ich habe die PHP Version auf 7.4 geändert und jetzt wollte ich erstmal auf Contao 4.9 Updaten( Wegen der PHP version) und dann auf 4.13(und PHP 8.2).
Beim Contao Update habe ich die Fehlermeldung bekommen. Dann habe ich nach der Fehlermeldung im Netz gesucht und versucht ein Composer Update (Über den Contao Manager) zu machen. Da kam dann aber die selbe Meldung.

Ich meinte du solltest beschreiben, welche exakten Schritte du genau tätigst. Was du wo eingibst, wo du hinklickst, etc.

Das was du tun musst ist folgendes:

1. Die Contao Version auf 4.13.* ändern (4.9 ist bald EoL)
2. Nicht auf "Anwenden" klicken!
3. Stattdessen auf "Alle Pakete aktualisieren" klicken.

Davon dann die gesamte Konsolenausgabe posten.

Du dürftest noch eine Extension oder Applikationsanpassung haben, die nicht mit Contao 4.13 (bzw. Symfony 5) kompatibel ist. Das hat aber nichts mehr mit dem ursprünglichen Thema hier zu tun.
