Migration fehlgeschlagen

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mich mal wieder hinreißen lassen Composer zu installieren. Leider bereue ich es unmittelbar danach denn mir hats dadurch die Seite zerschossen.Die Migration ist aufgrund mangelndem PHP Speicher von 1und1 nicht durchgelaufen. Der Support hat mir das erhöht und ich habe die Seite neu geladen. Jetzt bin ich zumindest mal in Contao.

Allerdings scheint hier etwas schief gelaufen zu sein. Wenn ich auf Werkzeuge "erneute Synchronisierung" anstossen will kommt die Meldung "Contao Composer Plugin wurde nicht gefunden!"

Ich habe jetzt schon einige Module für die erneute Installation vorgemerkt....macht er aber nicht wenn ich Pakete aktualisieren will:

Das alte 1&1 Lied . Ging bei mir aus dem selben Grund nicht und auch bei zwei Kunden, die jeweils - so wie ich - noch ein altes 1&1 Webhosting-Paket haben (Dual Basic bzw. Homepage Business, meins war ein Homepage Perfect). Für mich habe ich jetzt die Konsequenz gezogen, erst mal auf ein größeres und neues Paket umzusteigen.

Ja, bei mir war es ebenfalls Homepage Perfect. Allerdings war der Support wirklich schnell und hat es mir sofort für 7 Tage auf ein besseres Paket angehoben und dieses Problem war instant weg. Leider war das Kind (Composer) da schon in den Brunnen gefallen.

Im Endeffekt muss ich sowieso noch die Kunden überzeugen als mich. Was nützt es mir, wenn ich jetzt bei mir prima mit Composer installieren kann, wenn die Installation hinterher auf dem Kundenwebspace nicht läuft? Naja, in jedem Fall ist mein Webspace jetzt erst mal für die nähere Zukunft gerüstet.

Funzt Composer generell nicht damit? Ich hoffe ja nicht . Ich dachte nur die Migration zu Composer scheitert deshalb.

Naja, hab ich jetzt nicht noch extra probiert. Ich dachte mir, wenn ich noch nicht mal ne frische 3.3.x oder 3.4.x mit Composer installieren kann, ohne jegliche Erweiterungen außer dem Composer Client, dann brauche ich den Rest nicht mehr probieren. Ok, eine "fertige" Installation umzuziehen auf den Kunden-Webspace, das könnte wohl funktionieren, solange man im Backend nichts mit Composer macht (installieren, aktualisieren). Jegliche Updates von Erweiterungen müsste man dann wohl auf einem anderen Webspace vornehmen und dann die geänderte Version wieder zurückspielen auf den Kunden-Webspace.

Du musst vor der migration auch noch nachsehen ob die aktuell installierten Extensions yberhaupt "erlaubt" sind.
Wenn du den Haken bei "inkompatible Erweiterungen anzeigen" im ER gesetzt hast, dann hast du wissentlich die Versionskontrollen, welche im ER2 eh nur rudimentaer yberpryft werden, gaenzlich gekappt und schipperst somit auf gut Glyck durch die Erweiterungsverwaltung.

Bei Composer hingegen werden diese strikt gecheckt und der schiebt dir dann den Riegel vor, in diesem Falle merkt er dass "cgo-it/xls_export" wohl nicht zu deinem Contao core passt und bricht daher ab.
Du musst also die erlaubten Versionen der Extensions erstmal wieder "gerade" biegen.

Da stimme ich dir prinzipiell voll zu. Aber... bisher werden ja viele Erweiterungen mit neuen Contao-Versionen von Anwendern getestet. Wie oft habe ich in verschiedenen Threads schon als Antwort auf die Kompatibilität einer Erweiterung mit einer neuen Contao-Version gelesen: Könnte funktionieren, probiers aus und wenn es läuft, melde es an den Entwickler, damit der die Erweiterung für die neue Version freigibt. Das heißt jetzt mit Composer natürlich manuelle Installation, womöglich noch irgendwo von Github herunterladen. Da käme eine ähnliche Möglichkeit wie beim ER durchaus gelegen. Wenn man also vielleicht sogar gezielt sagen könnte: "Diese Erweiterung - und nur diese - bitte nicht auf Inkompatibilität prüfen". Man könnte sie dann ja gern in der Paketverwaltung rot einfärben, so dass das potenzielle Problem für jeden sofort sichtbar wäre, der eine solche Installation vielleicht kurzfristig übernehmen muss. Das wäre dann ähnlich zum ER2, aber immer noch besser, weil zumindest alle anderen Pakete gecheckt würden, während beim ER2 dann ja praktisch alles zusammeninstalliert werden kann. Man könnte ja sogar drüber nachdenken, solche Installationen dann zwangsweise im Wartungsmodus zu belassen.

Naja ich hatte halt jetzt eine Mischsituation.....ich musste Composer eigentlich nur wegen einer Erweiterung installieren, deren Version es nicht mehr ohne gibt...der Kunde sie aber mega dringend braucht ;-)

Das kenne ich nur zu gut. Gibt ja immer mehr solche Erweiterungen. Mehrere meiner Kunden haben noch einen "alten" Webspace und wollen teilweise auch nicht einsehen, warum der plötzlich nicht mehr gut genug sein soll. Da werde ich in nächster Zeit viel Überzeugungsarbeit leisten müssen, denn über kurz oder lang wird mit Contao an Composer kein Weg mehr vorbeiführen. Bisher habe ich in solchen Fällen schon mal darauf verzichtet, meine "Wunscherweiterungen" zu benutzen. Manuelle Installation ist ja auch nicht immer einfach, wenn ich mir z.B theme_plus anschaue mit den ganzen Abhängigkeiten.
