    Default Google Sitemap Extension

    Hi,

I understand that this extension is not approved for 2.7 - is it likely that is will be updated?

I have installed the extension on a test 2.7 site just to see what it does.

At the moment I cannot see this change in the backend:

"An additional checkbox for regular pages allows you to define the initial page of your website." nor can I see any change in he way sitemap.xml is formatted.

Any help or guidance much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Gary.

TL 2.7 has the ability to create a sitemap.xml for google out of the box, so I'm not sure if this extension is still of use.

I have it working now, and it is quite good:

    * No more /home.html for the home page
    * Lastmod dates for each file

Maybe you can share what the solution was, in case others have the same problem.

    Hi Acenes,

Of course I should of said. I think that it was working all along and that I had just not waited for the file to update. I guess that it is controlled by a cron job.

The extension provides more options that the build in sitemap. XML is update by cron job (like in TL) and if you update a page, article or content element (the build-in does not).
