Datepicker defaults to 1909

In the BE the date is shown correctly as 29-06-09 but the date picker is defaulting to Tuesday 29th 1909.

I have just updated from 2.7.0 to 2.7.2 but the problem (for me at least) is the same in both.

Any ideas how I can cure this?

Use uppercase Y instead of lowercase y in the settings for the default time format.
