Display member's username in a welcome message

Hello,

I would like to display a welcome message to front-end members when they are logged in. I know system settings can be done in custom html modules using something like {{env:path/website_name/etc)}} and I am wondering if there is something similar for session information. Is there a document outlining all of these available variables?
