Calendar look

The standard calendar (cal_default) looks *very* simplistic and i have seen some examples of nice looking calendars here:

At first i thought these were the default TL calendars but now i know that i need to build templates for that. I have no clue where to start - maybe anybody could tell me with which templates or/and css's i'd need to start?

Hi Alexander,
CSS rules for your calendar can go into your basic.css. Or you build a separate calendar.css, save it into the folder tl_files and implement it via the Backend. As you like... Look into your frontend output to find the HTML elements to address.

If you need to change the template: that's mod_calendar.tpl in root > system > modules > calendar > templates. Save that file to root > templates (TL always looks there for .tpl files first) and make your changes.
