Multilanguage site

Hi!

I'm looking for documentation, tutorial or some advices, which can explain me how create a multilanguage site.

For example, I'm trying to create a site on 3 languages, each page will have a language switcher, and when client click on it it will be redirecting to this page which written in selected language.

I can imagin, how create pages with different languages which won't be duplicated in menus.

And I can't understand what is the best way to make this.

Can anyone help me ?

I do not know if this is the best way but this is my way of building multi language site:

- create one "website root" page for language
- set language fallback to the most common used language (I often create en/it website and set fallback language to en)
- install the ZedSeries Language Menu extension

You can install the Changelanguage module then : it is a language switcher.

This module auto-detects your site structure. By default, it displays the text version (en, fr, ru...) and if you want to display flags, check the "use image" box and name your image flags using the ISO3166-1 alpha-2 country codes---> For exemple, en.png (or jpg, gif) ru.png...s.o
