It seems that the Navigation and Sitemap modules don't show children of hidden pages.
The Breadcrumbs, however, navigation does display children of hidden levels.

How can I change this behaviour, so that sub-pages of hidden levels which are not set to 'Hide from navigation' get shown, while the levels that are set to 'Hide from navigation' still are hidden?
