autoarticle for users (editors)

i installed autoarticle (a great extension btw.) and it works fine as long as i´m logged in as admin.
once i switch to a user from my usergroup (editors) it doesn´t work as supposed.
when i create a new page now, there´s no article created within that page automatically.
since i want my editors to be not bothered with creating a new article each time they create a new page this is a real problem.
can anyone help me? anyone experience with this?
