Custom site upload..

Hi there,

I have manged to install typolight on my webserver with the test template as a starting point to see if it all works. And I am happy to say it's running perfectly.

I have made my site offline using a test environment (xampp) and I now want to move my offline site to my server with the fresh installation of typolight (online beta folder). But being a total noob I just can't seem to get this right....

Can anyone please help? Is there a tutorial out there I can follow?

Hi George,

easiest way i suggest:

Upload all files from your local pc into a directory on your server.
Make a sql export from your local installation.
Import the database into your database online.
change the settings for database in "system/config/localconfig.php" with your online database settings.

May be you need to change the rewrite base in .htaccess file in TYPOlight root directory.
