Default forum to include in typolight

    hi,
i installed punBB on my webpage.
now i want to include it on my typolight page...

is there a nice way to include the forum into the page?
or do i have to use an iframe to load it?

    thanks in advance
    lumo

PS: i did not see a forum included in the basic/free typolight release.
note: i installed punBBBridge to automatically create user accounts for tl and pun (aworks like charm)

There is not an easy way to integrate pun except for using iframes, which is a terrible idea yet simple. Have a look at the forum / helpdesk extension: http://www.typolight.org/extension-l...000009.en.html. It's the same extension used by the old TL forum here: http://www.typolight.org/forum.html

    ok, i installed everything regulary.
i created a category but frontend says no categories.
is there a tutorial how to create a forum with this helpdesk?

it seems a bit more complicated than punBB but as its nicely integrated i'm looking forward to use it!

The helpdesk / forum really is an amazing system! You should also look into the Avatar extension and I think there is also one for private messaging.

ok, i got it working after a smaller fight - and the option to reindex is missing, after the first thread the index showed no threads...had to delete and recreate it...
    but now,... its working fine

    thanks for your help!
