News/articles custom fields

Hi,

Is it (will it be) possible to use custom fields for news and/or articles in typolight? E.g. when creating portfolio it'd be nice to have a field to insert keywords data like technology or client name. It'd be useful when creating news template.

Unless you do some custom development, it isn't easy to add custom fields to news or articles. You should have a look at the Catalog extension, though. It is extremely flexible for custom listings.

Also, if you are just looking to tag or add keywords to elements, you may want to look into this extension:

I personally haven't had a chance to use it yet, but from the description it may at least partially do what you want.
