Default How to Upload a Video, Image(s) into a Catalog Item?

Is there a way in catalog extension module to Upload a Video, Image(s) into a Catalog Item?

For images i've used file as "field type" and checked the "Multiple Files" checkbox for adding multiple file for a catalog item.
But is there a better way like browse files option for adding video/images?

Using the file browser for both is the way i do it.

There are other options for video depending on what kind of video it is. you can use a template to create the code that will display the video, embed code for flash for example, then add urls or ids trough a text field in the catalog. or you can set up a template to show videos from YouTube.

the best way to do YouTube videos is to put the embed code in a template and create a text field which will replace the video id or URL. If you are bringing in multiple videos from different websites with different embed code you can create multiple templates or use a text area and paste in HTML.

This site uses a lot of video from various sites using the HTML in the text editor: http://www.whartonboys.co.uk/golf_video_tutorials.html
