Spam through contact form

Some of my clients receive spam through the contact form.
A few as many as five times a day. The contact form fields are filled out in plain gibberish.
Does not make sense.

is there a way I can prevent this from happening?

No it did not have catchpa.

I have added the security question now. Hope it solves the problem.

I am wondering why some domains attract a lot of spam like this of some of them nothing at all.

The security question is a field option included in Typolight

It looks like there are currently two extensions for adding captcha: http://www.typolight.org/extension-l...ptcha&x=14&y=9
