Flash module doesn't display alternate content [solved]

After upgrading to 2.8.0, a website with flash does not display the alternate content when viewing on the iphone. I have a few others running 2.7.6 and the alternate content does show up fine. On the 2.8 install, I get the basic "iphone no flash icon".

I have not tested this in browsers without flash but I know it's not working on the iphone. Has anyone else noticed?

I tried testing on the demo website but there is no flash video up there and the demo will not allow you to upload files.

If you feel this is a bug, please submit it to http://dev.typolight.org. Leo always asks if it can be replicated on the demo, but you have tried this and were unable to since you can't upload Flash.

I was trying to see if anyone else was having the same issues before setting up a ticket, just in case it wasn't a bug.

I understand. I have not used Flash on a 2.8 site, so I can't be of much help in this situation.

This turns out to be a change with with the way Swiff handles the replacement differently than SWFObject does.

Leo has found a solution and it will be available in Typolight 2.8.1
