size for dca in v2

I am currently building a catalog for used vehicles. Each vehicle has an array of options that might apply, each a checkbox. Currently there are unique 212 options defined, and catalog does not work out of the box with that. I had to change the dca table field from TEXT to MEDIUMTEXT.

Is this just the exception you will not change the field type for or is there no objection changing the field type to mediumtext by default?

not sure what you mean, because the TEXT and BLOB have a variable size (unless its a DB specific definition). I thought TEXT was unlimited in its maximum size?
