[easyupdate]Still in TL 2.8.1 after upgrade to 2.8.2

I just run easyupdate, then the install procedure, in order to upgrade to the latest TL version, but the displayed version is still 2.8.1.

Any idea where the problem is? And I don't know which version I'm definitely running :?

The version is stored in the file /system/constants.php

define('VERSION', '2.8');
define('BUILD', '1');

Is possible that easyupdate not update this file...

Thanks for your answer. The constant.php file still shows 2.8.1 version ... surprising as it has worked perfectly last time; after running easyupdate, the version number was indeed updated.
