prefilter and list

I want to make a prefilter with the variable (items) in url !
how do I proceed? ?

You didn't read the online documentation -- which is quite extensive.

Catalog List & Catalog Filter should be on 1 page, they interact with one another. The filter will add filter variables to the URL automatically and the LIST will read those and filter accordingly. The Reader is used to display the detail of 1 item only.

I can't to use the "Catalog Filter" in this page !
