Call to authors of extensions

In the final version 2.9.0 the backend catalog will only list extensions that are declared to be compatible with 2.9.x. Those who installed the current SVN trunk may have noticed, that the catalog currently lists less than 20 compatible extensions.

When on july 4. the final 2.9.0 stable gets released, also the extension list on contao.org will be switched to only list 2.9.x compatible extensions.

Therefore please make use of the remaining RC period until july 4 to check your extensions and set the compatibility, otherwise your extension will not be listed any more until you catch up with testing and setting the compatibility.

Just to make clear: Nothing gets deleted and your extensions will continue to be available in the backend catalog of 2.8.x and older installations, even if you dont find time to test and mark them as compatible with 2.9.x.

Two weeks to go until Independance Day, still less than 15% of all extensions are tested for Contao 2.9 compatibility.

Please remember to check your extensions in time.
