Link to a Catog entry from anywhere else ?

Hello,

If I develop a part of a website with Catalog, can I link to somes "pages" of this catalog from within any other article or news with Tiny link manager ?

For example : I create a list of concerts in catalog and I want to speak about one of these in my news and add a link to this concert in the text.

Nope -just like you can't link directly to a news item either. You have to know the exact URL, by clicking on it in the FE and then linking to it using copy/paste.

As an alternative, Do you think it would be possible in a future Catalog update to have inserttags support for linking to catalog items?

Example, from within an article, you could link to an item by putting in {{catalogname::itemalias}} and have it generate the link. Just like you can with an article alias. I tend to be very consistent with my aliases so it's trivial to just type in the tag for whatever item I'm looking to link to.
