    Default [visitors] Themes compatibility

    Hi
I'm using visitors with theme that has a folder for templates. eg. /templates/my-folder
The extension does not read the template in the my-folder folder

It seems that visitors not works with the new themes feature

I've run into this with the catalog app. It does work sort of if you have a file of the same name in the root of your templates folder. For example, if you have some_template.tpl in your my_templates folder, put a file of the same name in the root. It will still read the template from your custom folder.

This works with the catalog addon, so it may work with others as well.

Certainly already know this solution, thanks.

I wanted to communicate this problem at the author of the extension

Have you seen Ga.N's recent post?

If this is related to your issue, it may provide some clues to help you temporarily "patch" the extension until the author has a chance to update it...

This is not just a patch in the front end module in my modules.
In Visitors and Banners, the template is selected in the category, not in the front end module.
This must be rebuilt completely. For several weeks, I am working on the Banner Module 2.0. including migration.
    Module Visitors follows.
Until then, please leave your templates in /templates.

Changes to the method getTemplateGroup were found after the publication of Contao 2.9. (by me)

I'm not really happy with the Theme Manager ...
