403 error after attempting File Upload

Hi,

i recently moved my typolight/contao site to a new web server. All went really well expecting that now when i try to use the built in 'file manger' i get a HTTP 403 error when i try to upload new files. Once the file upload progress bars have reached 100% i get a 403 message below.

I have experimented with lowering the permissions on the target directories and checked the user and group permissions via shell.

Could it be anything else? I'm stumped.

Does this happen with both the Fancyupload and the normal upload?
Switch between by editing your user account in the 'back end settings' part.

It sounds like a permissions issue. Have you tried using the safe mode hack? Also, Vinchenzison's idea about trying with a standard upload form is a good idea.
