Sitemap generation including www. in url

My sitemap.xml file is currently being generated in this formatL

<url><loc>http://mysite.com</loc></url>

I would like to include th www. for example:

<url><loc>http://www.mysite.com</loc></url>

How can I achieve this?

A site I'm working on creates the xml sitemap with the "www." I wonder if it has anything to do with if you have a www in the url when working in the backend. Have you tried defining the domain in the Site structure?

Yep, I had the domain specified without the www. I have added it now and the sitemap generates correctly.

I believe that if you leave the domain blank, it will also generate the sitemap with "www."
