Default Filter module gives: "Page not found"

    Hi,

I'm building a site for a design company who wants to display all their products. I'm using the Catalog to display the products in different categories.

At first I used the Taxonomy to create the categories, and then assigned the products to the different categories created. But later, I realized that I needed to use a different catalog instead of the Taxonomy for the categories (I needed descriptions to be displayed for each category which I could not do with the Taxonomy editor).

But now I have encountered a problem:
When I make a filter module to list the different categories. I get an error: "Page not found".

You can see for yourself on this page:
    http://thesnowroom.se/en/the-childrens-collection.html
The top filter menu uses the Taxonomy to display the categories. <- This works!
The second filter menu uses the Catalog where I have created the categories. <- These links generates "Page not found".

Have I missed something fundamental here, or what is going on? :?

It must be something wrong with the filter-parsing of the URL.

    This is the page: http://thesnowroom.se/en/the-childrens- ... egory.html

    This works:
    http://thesnowroom.se/en/the-childre...ght-lamps.html
    This works:
    http://thesnowroom.se/en/the-childre...ght-lamps.html

    This doesn't work:
    http://thesnowroom.se/en/the-childre...ght-lamps.html

"category" uses the taxonomy as a filter.
"categories" uses a separate catalog as a filter.

Nevermind, solved it in another (not perfect) way. But if anyone know what causes the "page not found" error, then let me know..

Maybe you can share with us how you solved it?

In the end I went back and used the Taxonomy as the filter.

For the descriptions for each category I had to create another Catalog. In this Catalog I created entries with descriptions for each category. When a category is shown, a catalog-list displays the corresponding description from the second Catalog.

Kind of hard to explain in words. You can see the result here:

Do you have installed the "folderurl" extension? If so, you should probably add in the back end "settings" the appropriate keyword.
