I think that's a pretty comprehensive list. Of course, the real benefit is that since it is so integrated with Contao, you also get everything else Contao offers I think it's a pretty unique situation, actually.

Don't forget:

• The Rules and Coupons module, which offers a flexible system for setting up product discounts based on a variety of factors

• Auto Image thumbnailing based on an unlimited number of image sizes.

• The different payment and shipping methods we currently have (and growing).

• Fully templatable (like all Contao extensions).

• Multilingual product data

I see the real selling point of Isotope is its total flexibility in customization (much like Contao itself). It's designed to accept custom product types, custom product galleries, custom cart types (called product collections, such as for gift registries, fundraisers, etc), custom checkout steps, etc... Without those features I would not be able to build out sites to my clients' specifications nearly as easily, especially when comparing to other options out there like Magento, osCommerce, MIVA, etc... I've worked with all those before and it would have taken me 10x as long to customize those apps than with Contao and Isotope...

Hi Blair,

I will add those to the list and also include some other features that Contao offers. I included some like the user account password stuff. I can't remember where I got this list but it's from a proposal i did a few years ago that didn't go ahead, i stripped out features Isotope doesn't do. It may have even been a feature list of Magento some years ago.

Isotope is working pretty well for me at the moment now the paypal payments standard is fixed. We are exploring it more and more and now learning our way through the products variants and attributes. Hopefully will have a site or two live soon.

I have lost count of the amount of times i have set up a fresh install of Isotope on Contao and can now get a shop up a running in no time at all. I will do a screen cast of this soon to help others get up and running.
