How to pronounce "Contao"?

Perhaps this is obvious to everyone else, but... what's the standard way to pronounce "Contao"?
Is it "con-TAY-oh"? "con-TOW"? ...?

I did poke around in the FAQs and found the press release

but knowing that the new name is based on a Vietnamese word does not actually help me. In fact, I even went so far as to look for pronunciation guides for the Vietnamese alphabet, only to discover that none of them claims the a-with-a-dot-under-it character as its own letter.

Lydia - From my conference calls with the other team members, I believe it is pronounced "con-TOW".

what's the standard way to pronounce "Contao"?

Take a look at this video where Leo describes the handling of language files through the Contao Extension Repository. In addition, you hear there also the right pronunciation of "Contao" (by Leo himself).

In English, I would pronounce it as "Con-Tow-Oh" (or "Con-Tow" or something similar)

Maybe someone finds the right phonetic notation according the "International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)"...

yeah from the video definitely "Kon - Taow" not "Kon - Tae - o' ". The two syllable version =D

This is the closest I can get to the pronunciation in IPA:

I would pronounce the "tao" just as in "Tao Te Ching".
