    Default Sub menu

    Hello everyone

I hope I didn't miss it but I didn't find in the board the answer to my problem...

I'd like to cut the menu in 2. For one part, the first level elements that I'll place on one side, and for other part sub-elements of the selected level 1.

I can limit the first level menu, but I do not succeed to show sub-elements. The menu display all the levels (1 and 2)

I used the standard navigation module in both case, and put 2 as start level and 3 as end but it doesn't work...

Would you have an idea, a clue?

    Thank's

i haven't tried, but i think one should be start 0 - stop 1 (just shows top level)
and the other just start - 1

Did you experiment with the "hard limit" checkbox?

It sounds like you would need that enabled to do what you want. Otherwise the level settings are relative to the page you're on.

if you can, post a screenshot of your "Site Structure" page and your "Navigation Module settings" page. We may be able to see what you're missing.

I've been sent a screen shot from an other Contao user, and I understood that I didn't had to define a reference page ...

    Now it works fine.

    Thank's
