    Default User Group Policies

    I'm obviously missing something...

    Created user "Editor"
    Created user group "Editors"
Assigned user "Editor" to group "Editors"
I checked ALL POSSIBLE OPTIONS for having access to everything... but it will not allow me access to the edit, copy, move, and delete functions in Articles. They are all grayed out... the Publish/Unpublish and info buttons are bright like they are active, but it will now allow the user to click on them.

    Any thoughts?

check the "Default access rights" under Settings http://goo.gl/RzSHg

maybe you have to change the "owner" and "group" for each page you want to make editable by your users

Under "Default Access Rights" i have both Owner and Group set for editing articles.

Interesting though... I had to enable the rights for "Everybody" in order for my group to have access for editing them. Then each individual page has access rights, and I have them set for Owner and Group (not Everybody) and now the Editor can make changes to articles.

    Weirdly structured 0.o

    Another problem I'm running into...

I have the "Editor" locked down for the most part, but it will not allow me to block "Editor" from deleting content off of articles. I only want to allow for creation and editing but no deleting for article content.
