Catalog list - display all catalogs

Hi,
How it is possible to display all items in different catalog in on site?
I have let say page: our work and I have 3 different catalogs. How could i display only 2 items of each catalog and the sorting is date DESC.

I've tryed with inserting ({{insert_module::*}}) all catalogs in one page but the sorting isn't right, because if I insert via wildcard cat_1, cat_2, cat_3, and then the new item appers in cat_3, cat_3 won't jump to the "first" place.

thats not possible.
When the items are the same strukture (sounds like) than put them all together in one catalog. Than you can make everything you want to.

Heh I didn't even want to find the solution, it was more spontaneity.

The solution is more than simple. If you want to display all the catalog in one site than just create content element (text) and put insert tag {{insert_content::}} for each catalog list. Therefore you must create site structure for every catalog so that you can get insert_content ID.

Your best option here is to have 1 catalog, where you select a category e.g. a page as a category or taxonomy element as a category. Then you can create multiple lists to filter the catalog into different sub-catalog lists, e.g. shoes, tshirts, etc.
