    Default Isotope roadmap

I'm using Isotope on several websites and the system performs quite well. There are some problems of course, when reported there is feedback from the developers. Lately it seems as if some momentum is lost, where before great enhancements were made I can't tell what big changes have been made. This may just be my perception and I can be quite off, or big changes are made on keeping the engine light (as mentioned in the most recent blog (October last year)).

I'm curious to see what is going on, what is planned (other then looking through the tickets). There is a roadmap (http://www.contao-forge.org/projects/isotope/roadmap) so I know which tickets need to be solved before the next release. I guess my query is just meant to get an idea of the activity and how things are going.

    In short, what's up?

Well, there has been a lot of activity going from 0.2 to 1.3, as you have probably seen. Those were major framework changes.

1.3 represents a fairly stable underlying framework and I can't speak for all the devs but I don't see many major changes happening there... Mostly bugfixes and improvements/feature-adds until Contao 3.

We will obviously be keeping an eye on Contao 3 soon and prepping to get the system ready for its release over the next year. That is probably the biggest changes that will happen anytime soon.
