frontend not showing in Explorer

Hi there,

A strange problem occurred after upgrading a Contao installation to 2.11.1: the website (frontend) doesn't show on Explorer 8 and 9. No problems with other browsers. In Explorer, the pages start to load, but after a second you get a 404 error. See for yourself on http://www.grondbezit.nl. Any ideas???

If I load the site in IE8 I get some script errors:

Anyway, at the moment I do not get a 404 status code anymore.

Site loads in IE7 now ok, but reports very strange console error

Could not complete the operation due to error c00ce56e

Also i notice the root entry point redirects to index.php, whereas all the other pages are whatever.html

After upgrading from 2.11.1 to 2.11.2, the problem disappeared. But that could be coincidence.

The script error has something to do with a Mootools script. The error c00ce56e occurs only in Explorer and has something to do with encoding. I guess most people won't notice and the Mootools scripts do their work, like they should.
