[tabcontrol] Direct link to tabs/panels

Hello, is it possible to link directly to certain tabs and their content. By default the first panel is visible, but there is a need to link directly to a certain tab. Is this possbile with this extension?

E.g. the link could be http://www.domain.com/pagename#tab3 (or something like this) would display the content of the third panel, with the third tab being highlighted.

We've got TL 2.7. installed with tabcontrol 1.1.3.

Yes, this is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm trying to determine whether this is possible with the version of tabcontrol and TL I've got installed, and what work would be involved. Do you have any pointers for me? Many thanks!

I don't think to control has something specail to a version. Just look at my js code in the source.

I'm having trouble getting the tab Control to work. I've implemented MooTools accordian template in the page layout but i'm not having any luck.
