Default godaddy and crazy file permissions

    Hi there,

I'm trying to install Contao on a go daddy account. After I uploaded all files I checked the situation with contao-check.php and the whole result was red! All directory permissions are set on 705 and all file permissions are 604.
I spoke with a guy from the godaddy »support«, and he told me it's my fault. I checked their files, all are set on 604.
I found some interesting comments about godaddy:
Although I have a feeling this is limited to crappy hosting like GoDaddy. They are AWFUL...
    from here: http://www.contao-community.org/view...=1908&start=10

Is there are solution for this mess?

Go with Site5 instead. GoDaddy is really messy... You'll probably take a month to transfer your domain, as they refuse to transfer domains easily. They are hogs.

Thank you for the answer. Meanwhile I found this hoster:
http://www.arvixe.com/linux_web_hosting Their »personalclass« package looks promising, their are offering 6 domains for $4,–/monthly. After some emails with the godaddy »support« I can say – these guys are probably not well paid.
I checked Site5, they're basic package for $4,95 includes only one domain.
