blank page? please answer quick!

Hello,
Whenever I try to access my installation wizard (the one where you put in the installation password)
it just comes up with a blank page.

What should I do?

Can you be more specific:

1. Did you copy the installation files with a FTP program to your webserver?
2. Do you see the folder contao and in it the file install.php (eg: public_html\contao\install.php)
3. How do you access the install wizard; Did you type yourdomain.tld\contao\install.php in your browser
4. What do you mean with a blank page, is there no error code returned?

1. Yes, I think I did.
2. No, I can't see that anywhere.
3. Yes, I did.
4. Well, just a blank page. No error message. Nothing. Just white.

If you copied the files with an FTP program such as WinSCP then you would be able to see them on the web-server. Can you tell me:

What are the name(s) of the files that you copied to the web-server
What is the name of the folder on the web-server that you copied them into.

Hello,

I am using SmartFTP as an FTP program.
I have found the install.php file!

Here are the files:

changelog.php
confirm.php
diff.php
file.php
files.php
help.php
index.php
install.php
main.php
page.php
password.php
popup.php
preview.php
switch.php

I uploaded the files onto the httpsdocs folder of my website.

These files should be in a directory called /contao/ under your root folder. So like this:

httpsdocs/contao/install.php

Once you have moved these files into the contao folder, then open the Contao install tool.
Simply add /contao/install.php to the URL of your Contao installation in your browser.

PS:
- The other folders such as \files\ and \system\ stay under the root folder.
