    Default Help with Search Filtering

    Hi Guys,

I'm in need of help when it comes to creating search filters.

I've worked out to create a search and have this working well on this page:
    http://www.racheleasmith.com/index.php/search.html
What i really want to add is filters so the user is able narrow down their search once the search results are shown.

I've downloaded the catalog module (which contains the catalog, taxonomy, backend_filterwiz etc) - am i on the right track?

Any help with setting up this module would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot :D

(P.S. I originally posted this here but think I got the wrong topic: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=6340 Thanks)

If you want to search within catalog entries you're on the right way. Search in the wiki to find out how search and filters in catalog works.

If you're in Contao 2.11.12 you can use MetaModels instead of catalog, it's a bit more complicated as catalog, but it's the new catalog.
