colorbox captions

Hi there,

I use the JQuery script Colorbox to open bigger versions of images. Colorbox is also used to generate image galleries. The nice thing is that in image galleries the meta information (Caption) that is filled-in in the File Manager is automatically placed above the bigger version of the image.

But that is not the case when you use Colorbox on a single image. The meta information is not displayed by Colorbox. Why? And is there a way to do it?

Unfortunately the meta data is not supported in the single image element and also not in the single download element. There are some tickets regarding to this with feature requests. Some are sadly closed.

Test with $this->showTemplateVars() to proof if I'm right.
