Migrate from typo3 to contao

Hi. I'm looking for a method to export every news content (just the news) from typo3 and import to contao. It seems quite complicated, there are 3 categories,every article have images, texts and a kind of image/content slider as content.
Is there some plugins/extensions for this? Or is it possible? I don't have any experience with Typo3, so I have no idea where to start searching.

I've found an import script on GitHub: https://github.com/chrizdee/tt_news_2_contao

I've not tested it yet. It could be that the script does not work correctly in current Contao versions. So, you might have to adjust the script to match both the database structures. Test the script not on your live web site and make a database backup first!
