Use MetaModel with a parent table (tl_news)

Hello,

I just found metamodels, for I am in search of an extension allowing me to dynamically filter the contents of the news.

Metamodels seems to meet this need with the ability to define a parent table. Yet I can not seem to get the list of news rensigné in tl_news table.

Es that this is possible, or I have to manage my news from the metamodels module?

There are content elements from tl_content with ptable=tl_news in the news, maybe this will help you.
