Auto login with url like www.test.com?user=usr&password=psw

I'd like to be able to make a link (bookmark) to automatically login to contao.
The above url works for multiple sites I login to but not for contao.

Does anyone have an idea what I need to change?

Hi smodilo,

it is imho a very bad idea to pass the login credentials by URL parameters since they could show up in web server log files etc.

Nonetheless, there is an extension in the repository (still in beta though) that allows to log in via URL with a unique (user) key.
