Front-end index not showing up

Dear people,

I just installed Contao on my website and everything went fine. Now I want to see the index page but I get an error message that says this: "Er is geen website startpagina welke overeenkomt met de gevraagde taal en/of domeinnaam."

It's in Dutch because my website has a Dutch extension I guess (I was never asked to choose a language, but it doesn't matter). Translated it means 'There is no website index which matches the asked language and/or domainname.'

What do I have to do? I tried adding 'nl' to the fallback languages in the settings but this didn't help. Anyone that knows what I should do at this point?

Hi,

you'd have to set the fallback in the website root page (not in the system settings):

Layout > Site structure > Edit the website root settings > DNS settings > Enter the page language in the corresponding field > Check the "Language fallback" checkbox
