Downloading images from image_gallery element

Dear all,

I have created an image gallery by selecting image_gallery element type.
What I have so far is the second attachment. ( my_work.png: the pictures are shown but there is no download link)
My goal is the first attachment. ( my_goal: the picture is shown and a download link is also added). Actually I don't know how to add the download link to the template.
There is an 'alternative text' field which adds text to the image but it doesn't accept html tags. (third attachment, workspace.png)

Your gallery doesn't look like the core gallery and your BE looks as if its an old Contao version.

The lightbox popup view mostly gets renderd by JS e.g. colorbox, mediabox, slimbox. So I think you have to do it with JS.

Without the Contao version and a link to the site I can not help you.
