    Ausrufezeichen Contao Manager 1.9.1 Issue

Recently, ran the self-update for Contao manager to 1.9.1.
However, when I click [Confirm & Close] it generates an error - page not found 404. Restarting Contao Manager leads back to the same issue.
Now, I don't have access to Contao manager at all!

    This is the error log:

PHP Parse error: Unterminated comment starting line 85 in phar:///home/u26tims/public_html/lecprotocol.com/web/contao-manager.phar.php/api/HttpKernel/ApiProblemResponse.php on line 85
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected token "<", expecting end of file in phar:///home/u26tims/public_html/lecprotocol.com/web/contao-manager.phar.php/vendor/symfony/error-handler/Error/FatalError.php on line 64

What can I do? Has anyone else had the same issue?

    Help much appreciated.

Download the contao-manager.phar again (do not rename the file!), (FTP) transfer the contao-manager.phar to the online webspace and save it into the /public/ (or /web/) folder. Then, rename the file to contao-manager.phar. php and try it again.

Unfortunately, although it now says the Contao manager is 1.9.2 it presents the same problem. When I click [Confirm and Close] it generates a 404 page.

"HTTP request for "DELETE api/task" failed.
The server returned a response with status code 404."

You could try to delete the contao-manager/task.json

yup, that did it, except now when trying to do anything in Contao Manager - update/add packages - I get a similar message:

HTTP request for "PUT api/task" failed.

It could be a problem with your hosting environment.

You could report the issue on GitHub: https://github.com/contao/contao-manager/issues

I had no problems until the 1.9.1 Contao Manager update.
And the systems check sequence in loading the manager finds no problems, so if that's the case, I have no idea what it could be.

Have you already tried to delete the directory /contao-manager/ completely? When you open the Contao Manager, you will of course have to create the user again.
