Comments not showing in backend

On my install of Typolight (2.7.2) for some reason comments do not show up in the back end at all. I get email notifications and can follow the edit links in the email to publish the comments but they do not show up in the backend under the comments menu, neither when pending or published.

I have no idea why.. It's a basic install. The only thing i've added is the rounded_boxes theme from Leo's Inet Robots.

Hi cmscritic,
looks as if you use the news-comments feature. Those appear in the news module (not in the comments module).

Thank you, i found it. That definitely needs to be made far more obvious.
