DfGallery and image description

Hi to all.
In my site i'm using dfGallery (2.0), and i want to show, for each image, a little description.
Where i can put this info? It's not like "Gallery", where i must create a file with name "meta.txt"??? [No, because it doesn't work]

I search on the web, but i found incomplete information, that mention an xml file...

Can you help me?
