Another Rss Question

There's a website with an RSS feed and I want to include that feed on my site.
The site is a Joomla one and the feed URL is like this

http://www.hostname.com/index.php/lates ... p;type=rss

Ok so when I add that URL to my feed reader module in Typolight it comes up blank.
If I copy the xml and save it to my server and call it news.xml and add that URL to the module it works.

Any ideas on how I can get it to work with the first URL, or is that possible at all?

Edit the fe_****.tpl file and put the rss url in the header.
for e.g : see http://www.web-praesenz.ch/

Try dropping the amp; from the url... only a maybe
