Modify User Registration Newsletter

Hi,

The following thing I can't find out is:

For a site I have userregistration module.
In the form for registration users could choose for also registering for newsletter.

First question: is it possible to do this automatic (without that users click the checkbox, but standard new users are memeber of the newsletter)

Second question ( if first isn't possible) : how to change the <label> field of this form. I would love to change newsletters into newsletter and delete the name of the newsletter behind the checkbox.

Hi Paul

1) I hope this is not a serious question as this is very, very evil and in some countries (e.g. Germany) even prohibited by law That's why Contao uses the double opt-in mechanism

2) You will find all the different language parameters in system/modules/newsletter/languages/en. Copy the one you would like to rename to system/config/langconfig.php and change it as you wish. This way your changes remain update-safe. If you want to hide a parameter completely, you can either change the variable to '' (empty) or remove it from the template

It works out doing it another way, and indeed i told my customer it is prohibited to send someone just spam.
