Hi all,
i decided to base my future website creations on TypoLight/Contao as it really looks very straightforward and is fantastic in CSS handling!
Compared to other CMS systems Contao is really superiour in that CSS field!
Now here my first -most likely very newbie - question:
I need to give the editor-users a way to create new pages based on a "template". That is, the pages are always composed the same in the "Main Column":
- a thumbnail <img> column/div (clickable)
- a div to display the big img for the clicked thumnbnail.
- a div for text.
1: My first attempt was to create a page-layout that consists of a "Custom HTML" Module for the "Main" column and create a new "Page Layout".
--> But then, the editor-user cannot change the 'src' attributes of the <img>s and the conetnt of the text div...
2: My second attempt was to create a "HTML" Article and assign that article to every new page created.
--> But this needs the editor-users to edit "raw" HTML and that is not always possible...
So my question is:
How can i realize that?
- Present the editor-user either something like a "Dreamweaver"/TinyMCE - like WYSIWYG view where he can change the images and text directly by typing it into it?
But i only see "EditArea" as editor....
- Or a "Form" that the user has to fillout & then the HTML is generated?
(How to create that form?)
Thank you in advance for your appracited help.
greetings from munich,
- Karl
Have i to create a new Module for that?
