Is need the PHP extensions GDlib (image resizing)
Use the System Check Tool
Thanx for replying.
the only errors I get in the system check results are:
Operating system WINNT Windows NT NET3-NL-IIS-120 5.2 build 3790
Create directory • Error Error creating directory "contao-check"
Create file • Error Error creating file "contao-check.txt"
I am a bit confused about the safe mode:
results:
Safe mode Off Recommended setting is Off.
this is correct, however a bit lower in the report I get the following message after the 2 errors above
If there are any warnings, you have to use the "Safe Mode Hack" to run Contao, otherwise you will not be able to create or modify files or to use the Live Update Service. Under no circumstances should you try to solve this problem by changing the file permissions!
Maybe this create dir and create file error can cause the gdlib issues in the gallery ?
thx
Frank

Canto can write in this folder?!
Yep, thumbnails are not the problem.
If you have some time please have a look:

thx
I found the issue :-)
I have uploaded the pictures via a separate FTP program.
Contao does not (online)resize them when clicking on a thumbnail.....
When uploading using the Contao filemanager, the images are resized and displayed correctly.
So there was some misunderstanding on my side, sorry to bother.
Anyhow thanks for the support
Frank
