CSs vs me

Hi,

I'm going to feel like a right idiot, but really struggling to get things working with the CSS for a site.

Most of everything is built and ready, but obviously want to control how it will appear effectively. I've tried to work my way through in a logical manner, but something is going amiss. I'm hoping that there might be some step by step instruction out there, more comprehensive than what is on the Contao site.

If anyone knows of one, if there any chance they'd be kind enough to let me know. It'd be very much appreciated.

I've scripted CSS before, as a graphic designer, was quite pleased with myself that I kept with it and got there. Only to have the work undone by not getting my head round this.... Its funny in a painful kind of way.

Anyway, if anyone has the time or inclination to point me in the right direction, it'd be indebted.

Can you be more specific? After read your post I still don't know what's wrong with your css.

Hamilton - can you point us to a url with some specific questions? There are a lot of people here that will gladly help with specifics.
