Contao site to move 1 folder up problems !

Dears,

Could you please help me with following problem?
I created a website ...but now , after the REAL URL there is still the "contao-2.9.3/" part...
My website is completely finished, and now I'm looking for a quick & easy solution to copy EVERYTHING 1 folder up.
So I can watch the website without entering the "contao-2.9.3/".
I tried it , but apparently it was not just copying...the site went completely corrupt, meaning images, css, template stuff.
So I have put it back.

Can you please help me ?

You should just be able to move it on the server,
Get rid of anything in "Relative path to the Contao directory" in Settings
and comment out RewriteBase (or make sure it says RewriteBase /) in your .htaccess file if youre using one....
(if you have problems make sure $GLOBALS['TL_CONFIG']['websitePath'] = ''; in system/config/localconfig.php)
